HighPower wagon-to-wagon connectors
Secure power distribution for wagon-to-wagon coupling
Heavy-duty power lines were previously hard-wired at wagon-to-wagon connections; today plug-in solutions are becoming increasingly common. Carriage substitution and train extensions are thus made possible on an hourly basis. To meet the increasing demands on performance, ease of handling and space requirements, we have developed a completely new connector system based on our RockStar® HighPower series.

Waterproof housings for heavy duty connectors
The new IP68 housings have been designed for use in extreme environmental conditions. The housing features, including IP68 / IP69K protection degrees, high shock and vibration resistance, ensure trouble free operations when heavy duty connectors are used, especially for railway engineering, (renewable) energy applications and all other in extreme environmental conditions.

Depending on the distance and number of passengers, high-speed trains might operate as
3-compartment trains one day and as 12-compartment trains the next. There is a requirement today for trains to be separated and joined on an hourly basis. In order to ensure that this process is carried out with speed and flexibility as well as the required degree of safety, practical connection solutions are needed at carriage interchanges.
